My art creates unexpected, beautiful, and memorable experiences.

I am a visual artist based in Southern California. I received my MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2020 and my BFA from Biola University in 2014. Besides maintaining a studio practice, I have been a contributing art writer for art publications and am a college educator.

I was a fellow at the Armory Center for the Arts, a recipient of several academic grants and fellowships, and have been included in exhibitions at UCLA, the Brea Art Gallery, the Irvine Fine Art Center, and the Chaffey Community Museum of Art, among others.

My art creates unexpected, beautiful, and memorable experiences. As a multimedia artist, I innovate with painting, installation, and sculpture! My studio is an ever-evolving incubator, but some things stay the same: my commitment to craft and quality is ever-present; as is my desire to create women-empowering imagery with the expressive language of flowers and figures.

My floral pieces are rooted in (pun intended) a rich history of symbolic importance. I channel these symbols to stage impactful compositions that stagger strength and fragility. The addition of LED lights in my work extends the reach of a piece. Light is a powerful tool to alter the mood of a space, and the lights are a powerful companion to many of my works. I get to iterate from these processes and offer reproductions and bespoke projects. Click below to start collaborating!
